Description
Incredible 9.6 copy of Strange Tales #123, cover dated August, 1964. Newsstand fresh and bright with a ridiculously white cover and cream to off-white pages. Features the first appearance of the Beetle. Cool Jack Kirby split cover. The 5th finest existing copy with only 4 ahead (all in 9.8). One of only 12 in NM+. Also noted for the first Thor crossover (in the Dr. Strange story) plus an appearance by Loki and a Thing sighting (in the Human Torch story). Great book.
